Standard Bank WineX is just weeks away – and we’re turning up the excitement with the 𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐞-𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐗 competition!
To celebrate, we’re giving you the chance to win a stunning prize as irresistible as a perfectly chilled bubbly on a hot summer’s day.
This year, it’s all about unleashing your curious and creative spirit. To mark SA’s biggest wine event, one lucky winner will walk away with a prize worth R17 250.
Enter before midnight, Sunday 19 October and your lucky bottle might just pop on Thursday 23 October, when we unseal and reveal the winner. Swirl and sip, while you survey the site – this could be YOUR winning pour!
Main prize
- 2 x tickets to the show on Friday night, 31 October, from 17h00 – 21h00
- 2 x deli vouchers for some delicious food-on-the-move in the wine tasting hall
- Accommodation for two in a King Suite at the Sandton Sun
- Winner’s dinner voucher for two at the hotel’s San restaurant (to the value of R1 000) on the Friday night
And that’s not all…
- 2 x Cape Wine Academy South African Wine courses (in-person) presented in Sandton

- 2-pack of Riedel Performance wine glasses and a magnum (1500ml) of Miraval Rosé from the Côtes de Provence (South of France).

Terms and Conditions
- Entrants must be 18 years or older to participate.
- The competition is not open to WineX exhibitors, suppliers or sponsors.
- Prize is valid only for the specified date/event, is not transferable, and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Accommodation is for two people sharing, with extras for the winner’s account.
- No flights or transport are included.
- The judges’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
- The winner may be required to take part in publicity photos or interviews.
- By entering, entrants elect to opt in to WineX/OutSorceress Marketing communications.
- By entering, entrants confirm they have read and accept these Terms & Conditions.
